Fondest Memory here: There is no way I could choose one favorite. Every day that I am allowed to teach about Jesus, is my favorite. Teaching young children to have “Hearts like Jesus” is such a blessing.
Greatest Teaching experience: While teaching fourth grade I took the student to Church for the Stations of the Cross during Lent. One young girl began crying. I asked her why she was crying. She replied, “Because I never realized that Jesus did that for me!”
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I love Maria Regina School because it has such wonderful families that make it home. Watching the families grow, teaching siblings year after year and developing friendships with others who value Catholic Education is a blessing.

Fondest Memory here: When the administration and staff dressed up for Halloween. The children were so excited to see all the teachers.
Greatest Teaching experience: How some of the children in my first grade class progressed in their writing skills. They went from finishing a sentence stem with one word to writing stories that were one and a half pages long.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I love the fact that I can instill religious values into a lesson or an everyday problem. God and my religious values can be instilled into my lessons. Maria Regina has a warm and nurturing environment that is clearly evident when one enters the building. I feel that this is because we are a Catholic School, and people can see that we truly care about our students.

Greatest Teaching experience: My greatest teaching experience has been to watch a group of students from my first Pre-K class grow and mature into responsible, bright young people.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I have been a teacher in Public School as well as Maria Regina. No other school had the feeling of comradery and family that I have experienced at Maria Regina. Everyone, administrators, teachers, and staff care about each other and the students in our care.

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memory was watching the eighth grade graduation of my first students at Maria Regina. They were in my class for Kindergarten and First Grade.
Greatest Teaching experience: I love teaching and I love watching the children grow and mature from September to June.

Greatest Teaching experience: I love teaching my students all about the letters. There have been so many fun crafts with letters that the students really enjoy!

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memory is always the first day of school and being in the gym with all the children; everyone is so happy and excited.
Greatest Teaching experience: My greatest teaching experience is having the Pre-K children learn all about Jesus and the Nativity and then be part of the Pageant.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I love how everyone is “one family” and we always come together in times of need for each other.

Fondest Memory here: Watching my youngest daughter graduate from Maria Regina and then have the opportunity to work with her as a colleague.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I came to Maria Regina for one year. There was such an overwhelming feeling of community and spirituality…it felt like home. Maria Regina is truly my second home.

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memory at Maria Regina is from Back to School Night. I felt so welcomed by all or the parents. That was a great feeling for a new teacher.
Greatest Teaching experience: My greatest teaching experiences are seeing concepts “click” with my students. To be able to see them understand and be proud of themselves is amazing.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina School has a wonderful sense of community. Mrs. Arpino, along with the faculty, staff, and families welcomed me with open arms. I am having a wonderful first year at Maria Regina.

Greatest Teaching experience: Last year my class worked with a local artist to create a mural of the desert. We learned about desert animals. We researched the ways that they adapt to survive in the harsh climate of the desert. The class learned so much about the ecosystem of the desert.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I love being able to share my faith in God with my students.

Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina is one big family! Parents are warm and welcoming and are very much involved. The students are eager to learn and the older students help the younger students! I don’t think there’s another school that has as many enthusiastic teachers!

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memories are having my Kindergarten students as my 8th graders. I have been lucky enough to share their first and last experiences at Maria Regina with them.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina School has an environment that treats everyone with respect. It is a school where faculty and students want to be. From the Priests, our Principal, faculty, staff, and students – we have a special school family.

Fondest Memory here: Being a member of the Maria Regina Family for a better part of my life, it is hard to narrow down. Graduating from Maria Regina and then being hired to teach with many of my former teachers are 2 of my fondest memories.
Greatest Teaching experience: As a Social Studies teacher, I try to make history and current events fun and exciting for my students. One of my greatest teaching experiences happened on the 2nd day of school this year when my 8th graders asked to watch CNN Student News. We discussed news from throughout the summer. Many of them even told me they watched the news on their own over the summer. It was a great teaching moment. I was so proud!
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina has been like a second family to me since childhood. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with such wonderful people. It is a great feeling to give back to the people and the place that has given me so much.

Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina is like a large extended family. We celebrate students’ accomplishments together and work together to ensure that all students succeed in a safe, happy environment.

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memory was when I was honored for teaching in the Diocese of Rockville Centre for twenty-five years. I received my certificate and pin at our monthly school Mass. I will always remember when the students, faculty, and parishioners gave me a standing ovation!
Greatest Teaching experience: Every day I am teaching is my greatest teaching experience. As the students grow and are challenged, I find it so rewarding when they realize their own potential as learners and strive to accomplish their best work.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School: I love Maria Regina School because of the wonderful community spirit exhibited here each day. I have had the opportunity to teach various grade levels through the years. It is amazing to witness the students as they mature. In addition I am privileged to see my former students now as parents in our school!

Fondest Memory here: Christmas and Spring Concerts are always great memories for me. Students get to show their amazing talents and they always sound great.

Reason why I love Maria Regina School: Maria Regina School provides a great environment for learning. Teachers are passionate about teaching and students are passionate about learning. It is great to work at a school where music and the arts are valued.

Fondest Memory here: My fondest memories here are when my former students return to inform me of their successes in high school Spanish.

Fondest Memory here: As a parent, my fondest memories are the school plays and how happy my children were while they were here; as teacher, just watching a child “get it” and be excited. I also love that my students ask for guitars for Christmas and then come in and play with me.
Greatest Teaching experience: Watching children come in so nervous (some crying) and then becoming independent thinkers and confident.
Reason why I love Maria Regina School:
I love working in the school that helped develop my own children into responsible, caring adults. I am always proud to call myself a faculty member. The teachers really care and the parents have become like family to me.
