WELCOME!


Maria Regina is a Catholic Parish Elementary School in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.  It is located at 4045 Jerusalem Avenue, Seaford, NY 11783.  Grades Nursery through 8 are taught by NYS certified teachers in an environment of "respect, responsibility and reverence".  We offer FULL and half day Nursery and Pre-K Classes, before and after school care, and many extra and co-curricular activities. Reverend  Frank Nelson is the Pastor and Mrs. Leona Arpino is the Principal.

Spelling Bee

The second, third and fourth grade had our annual Spelling Bee.  Congratulations to all the participants!  Our winners were from the second grade.  Our first place winner was Angel Pierre-Gilles and second place went to Jacob Franzetti.  Job well done by all!

Diocesan Respect for Life Contest

Congratulations to all of our finalists for the Annual Diocesan Respect Life Contest.  This year's theme was "Moved by Mercy."  The Awards Celebration, presided over by Bishop Andrzej Zglejszewski, was held at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School.  Maria Regina's School's finalists included Jamie Barrett and Jane McNamara for the Essay Category, Amanda Bashaw and Megan Monaghan for the Poetry Category, and Gianna Iovino for the Bookmark Design Category.  We extend special congratulations to Gianna Iovino for winning second place in the diocese for her Bookmark Design.  In addition, Matthew Laraia, a graduate of Maria Regina, was a finalist in Bookmark Design for the high school category.  Matthew attends Saint John the Baptist High School.  A job well done to all of our seventh and eighth grade students, as well as their teachers, Miss Zeller, Mrs. Prisco, and Mrs. Haase, for their participation and hard work for the Respect Life Contest!

Chaminade Science Fair

 sf Five of our 8th grade students participated in the Chaminade Science Fair on Saturday, March 18. Dylan Houck, Jack Keegan, and Jocelyn Bunster were each awarded 2nd place. Gianna Iovino and Jamie Barrett were each awarded 1st place. Congratulations on a job well done!

St. Aidan's Mock Trial Competition

On Saturday, March 18th students from Grades 6-8 participated in the St. Aidan's Mock Trial Competition.  This competition included students from Kellenberg, St. Aidan's, St. Martin's, St. Peter's, and Our Lady of Lourdes.  This was a wonderful experience for the students to have a better understanding of how our court system works.  Pictured here are: Rebecca Almodovar, Caitlin Monaghan, Megan Monaghan, Katie Laraia, Kyle Murray, Anthony Genovese, Jack Keegan, Jamie Barrett, Jocelyn Bunster, and moderator, Miss Teja.
