I have been teaching at Maria Regina for over fifteen years.  This year I am excited to work with your children in Maria Regina's new Makerspace.

What's a makerspace?

A makerspace is a place that provides hands-on, creative ways for students to design, experiment and invent as they engage in science, engineering, and technology.  A makerspace invites children to use science, technology, engineering and math to complete challenges and find solutions and is designed around student centered inquiry.
This year the students will be engaged in:

  • robotics
  • coding
  • animation
  • 3D printing
  • film making
  • experimentation
  • building
  • broadcasting
  • design
  • construction
  • inventing
  • exploring new ideas and new technology
