I came to Maria Regina in 1997 (thanks to Mrs. Wheeler) and initially taught library (N-8) and started our Enrichment program for gifted students.
I presently teach A.I.S. Reading(Academic Intervention Services in Reading for grades K-8) and E.L.A. test prep ( grades 3 -6 ) and library to grades K and 2.
Personal - I am married 37 years and have 2 children, ages 30 and 26.
My son graduated from Georgetown University and attended Santa Clara Law School in sunny California. He has been sworn in by the California Bar Association and he enjoys living and working as an attorney in San Francisco. He got "maui'd in Maui" last year.
My daughter graduated from the University of Scranton in May 2012 with certification in Elementary and Special Education and has received her Master's degree in Literacy. She currently lives and teaches in Pittsburgh, PA, following in her mother's footsteps
I love to spend time traveling. I have traveled to Italy, France, England, Ireland, and recently to Belgium (love the waffles), as well as visiting Florida, California, and Pennsylvania to visit family.
Three Jesuit schools for my kids! I am an active member of the 9/11 Seaford H.S. Memorial Committee and work eagerly to maintain the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001.
I am often seen with my BFF at Maria Regina after hours
and on weekends whenever there is a fun event at school.
