We love to practice writing in Pre-K 5

This Month:

Now that our holiday vacation is over its time to get back to work! This month we will be learning about the letters Ss, Ii, Mm, and Qq and beginning to introduce sight words. This month's thematic focus' will be winter, arctic animals, making choices (literacy theme) and Martin Luther King Jr. We will be continuing to count objects and recognizing numbers up to ten. This month will also be our open houses; your child's classwork during this month will be on display for those events!

What To Work On At Home:

Please work with your child on letter recognition and beginning letter sounds. We will be working on pointing to an object while counting- you can practicie this at home while eating snacks, playing blocks or any other activity. Keep practicing name writing using a capital letter followed by lowercase.
