I graduated from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York and hold Permanent NYS Certification. I have been a teacher for thirty-six years. I taught for six years in Chatterton School in Merrick School District before I had my own four children. Thirty years ago I joined the faculty at Maria Regina School.
I have enjoyed teaching in grades one through six over my career. Currently, I teach Religion for Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. My goal is to teach my students to learn, love, and live their Catholic Faith.
I am the Faculty Representative for the Maria Regina Parents' Association.
In addition, I am the representative for Maria Regina School on The Plainedge Teacher Center Policy Board. The Policy Board promotes and sponsors staff development for the teachers; this helps our teachers to remain current in teaching methods, emerging trends, and ongoing research.
As Middle States Co-Chairperson for Maria Regina, the faculty, staff, and I conducted our Self-Study and formulated our Action Plan to make Maria Regina School the best it can be. We are a Middle States Accredited School.
My husband and I are very proud and pleased to be the grandparents of five amazing grandchildren. Grandchildren help to make life so wonderful and very fulfilling.
