"God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference."
Education: I attended Saint Rose of Lima Elementary School, Alfred G. Berner High School, Dowling College, and Adelphi University. I hold permanent NYS certifications in Spanish 7-12 and N-6. I am also certified in Wilson's Fundations.
Experience: I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher in the Massapequa School District. From there I went to Hickory Hill Nursery School in Plainview. Prior to teaching at Maria Regina, I taught at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Cambria Heights, Queens. I have been teaching for thirty-nine years. This is my 31st year at Maria Regina Elementary School. I have taught the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and the May Crowning for twenty-five years. I have been truly blessed! I have made history for our Maria Regina School.
Personal: I have been married to my husband for thirty-nine years. I have two wonderful daughters who followed in their mother's footsteps and became educators as well. I enjoy interior design, crocheting, cooking, and being with my granddaughters.
My daughter, Patricia and her husband Brian are proud parents. Their daughter, Daniella Ann will be 6 years old on November 4th. Wow! My second granddaughter, Julianna Nicoletta will be 4 on March 27th. My husband and I are overjoyed.
My daughter, Theresa, a graduate from Maria Regina School is going into her eleventh year of teaching. She is an alumni! What a wonderful feeling it is to teach in the same school!
